Evening all - just wanted to drop in and say a massive Good Luck to you all for the Marathon. I so wish I was running this again but, for lots of reasons, I'm sadly not on form.
I'm all booked up for the Nice-Cannes mara in November...hopefully gives me time to get back on the right track...literally. I'll be running GNR as usual as it's my home half.
I'm glad to see it's business as usual on the forum ) I do miss the craic/pee chat/bristol stool chart thing/OROD talk, and general good people. You're right that many of the other forums are not quite so welcoming!

I have been reading and (honestly I DO have a life) enjoying the thread from the sidelines until I start training again and pluck up the courage to once again ask you all the stupid questions about running that Google can't/won't answer for me!
List fairy - I am defo on for Great North Run this year and possibly the Dam but i think that may be just the half at this stage...errr we'll see....Think there are some adventure runs in the Lakes I am signing up for but agreed to three whilst a little tipsy so can't remember for now.
