Dear Everest Kitchens.

You rang and offered to come and look and then design a lovely new kitchen for free. I agreed to meet you at 10am the next day. Even though it was all agreed you rang back that afternoon to 'confirm' the appointment. Having spoken to you just a few hours earlier I wasn't expecting this. I was working so couldn't answer. You didn't leave a message but I half recognised the number so thinking it was you, called you back. Your message said; 'Sorry we can't take incoming calls, we will call you back.' You did eventually - at 8pm that night when I was in the swimming pool. You left a message this time  - you said because I was unable to 'confirm' your appointment you weren't coming!!!!!!

'd taken a day off work for you and lost money.

You rang back just now -five days later - to try and rebook . I said you were idiots that couldn't communicate and my business had gone elsewhere.

I advise anyone else dealing with Everest to do the same. Or if you use them, just use them for their free design service - buy your goods and installation from someone who can communicate. Everest are idiots.

Don't know if everyone has kept an eye on the Luton organisers thread.. it seems they have rescheduled the race and given half price entry and 'first dibs'  to it to all those who entered last year's December race that was 'snowed off'. There is to be NO refunds or discount to any of their other races if you can't make the new date this year.

And... on the High Street you have 365 days to spend their  year only vouchers... a one-year Luton Marathon voucher only gives you one day to spend it.
