Thankyou for the birthday wishes. Marg is taking me for a meal at a new restaurant situated very close to where my training ground is at Rother Valley. Would have liked to have celebrated my 75 years by doing a run today but of course I am out of action still. The running will have to wait until my body feels right again. Seeing doc next week, not that he'll know what to do methinks.
Sorry that the car driver gave you a knock, thankfully you were unharmed.
Hoping that you will very soon be over the op and looking forward to resuming running in time to come.
Ceal, You appeared to have had a great Moroccan holiday, a nice tonic break from our winter gloom . Pity Stewart is feeling unwell, hopefully it isn't flu and that it isn't passed on to you. Get better vibes on way to Stewart.
Not good when waking up too early denies you the sleep you need. I know how that feels, often get that these days !
Thanks NZC, Good that your g/daughter was actually okay after you returned with some chocolate. The stubbed toe in your dash was not your just reward Hopefullly the chiropractor will not reveal any real problem with your back and as you say with luck any symptoms will go away !
Woke up this morning after another night of coughs with nagging aches in knee, thigh and right buttock. Wondered if it could be the sciatica emerging again. Called at docs who gave me a quick checkover and he prescribed some co-codamol . Also some a/biotics for the viral cough. Oh woe is me! I need one big shakeup........
Should have been helping mum today with her shopping etc., but it'd be her helping me instead !
No more moans from me, so I shall endeavour to look forward to getting over it all. A restful spell for now I opine, no good trying to push into running. Patience man!
