X_c romp sounded like fun with the resultant muddy feet !
The cough has gone alright thanks.
I find too it rather off-putting when the buggy runners overtake also those who run with their dogs
Today I ran 3 miles again but felt the legs protesting with knees feeling achey. Maybe the doms had set in. With being older perhaps 2 days between runs would be of benefit especially after the long Xmas break.
2 miles run followed by a mile walk/run. 12.32 11.57 13.25
Hello ! After a long absence due to a severe dry cough which was most infuriating to to others as well as me. E.g. cough rate 3 or 4 times a minute.
As TS says maybe I was responsible for some of you getting the lurgy!!
Then of course Sheffield copped the lot when snow arrived which made going out for a run too tricky when ice replaced lying snow.
Steady 3 mile walk yesterday to test legs after days of avoiding slipping
on icebound streets ( no gritting trucks turned up).
Marshalling tomorrow for the four clubs competing in a muddy x-c race.
I had my first run today for this new year and I did find It hard going being first run since mid Dec. Hence only 3 miles slow 12.31 13.32 and 13.50. At least course was snowfree just loads of pools to wade through. Didn't fancy doing Parkrun again yet!
