Sorry that you have had a terrible time. Possibly the virus or whatever it was could have been the real culprit. So hopefully your visit to the cardiologist may give you the allclear.
First time I've heard of anyone having holiday in Costa Rica. Glad you enjoyed it.
Great wedding at weekend when Marg's grandson got married with quite a large gathering of families and friends in attendance. The sun came out so loads of photos were taken outside the hotel which is far better than indoors. Fun was had with the clay pigeon shoot on the lawn.
Today a bit of a struggle doing the lake lap. Mostly walked I have to say with several short bursts of some running in the 3 mile jaunt.
A visit to see and take mum(94) in Lincoln shopping yesterday so no run/walk was done.
Pushed myself out this p.m. and though I didn't feel like it did both walking and short spells of running for 3 and 1/2 miles. No timing needed, just doing it was most important!
Almost forgot....well done on your race time. Sounds like a very nice medal
I think you could be right when you said depression can affect in physical ways. I do get aches in legs even when not running. It's certainly affecting the legs as I run, just as though lactic acid had set in as it can do after a long run. And it is not doms of course.
Impressive club run, may not have been too enjoyable but the experience toughens you up !
I will apply myself to those exes and try to do them most days. Thanks again.x
You are lucky to see several woodpeckers. I haven't seen any yet though often hear one somewhere in woods and/or copses.
I have been thinking the same about doctors. They don't appear to check on interactions or take much notice of side effects reported. So busy these days I suppose they consider it too time consuming to go deeper in checking on multiple prescriptions.
Hope your MRI scan works out ok.
Thanks for your empathy re the depression. I am attending a short BAG once a week but the number of people attending is declining and last week there were only three of us! As you say it cannot be quite understood by non-sufferers. A well known cliché is "pull yourself together and get on with things"
And I appreciate your offer to get in touch by messaging to you. I will bear that in mind if I need to
Let's hope your grandchildren will soon be fine and the baby does not become infected. And of course you don't need a virus either.
Dragged myself down to the trails and did 3 and a half miles, a mixture of walking and running( slowish). Can't seem to get much power in the legs as though there is not enough oxygenated blood getting through.
Marg woke up the other day with a bruise around her left eye. She can't understand as she doesn't recall anything that caused it. It sure wasn't me. Bruise marks still prominent so quite a mystery.
