Spot plasters or the micropore type tape. I'm fairly hairy, but much prefer the brief yelp when I've had a soak and pulled them off than to have the sting and scab of my tender niplles without anything on!

I managed to walk the dog for about 3 miles today without any pain in my knee, maybe need to increase my mileage a bit to set a new pb for the half!

I'll be entering pay day, but I'm hardly running at the moment due to my knee/IT Band. But I'm hopeful to getting a few weeks training in and will happily jog around and enjoy the atmosphere.

Hope the negotiations with the rusty gate are going well Alan.

It's a farily flat course, some inclines that may catch out those of us that don't train properly (I'm talking to myself there!) but no severe inclines.

Alan, is there any news on the finish for this? If it is by the Liverbuildings, does that mean we come down Upper Parliamant St like the Marathon, or are we running that bit longer on the waterfront?

Also, have you any plans on measuring the route that we can run along with you on?

It's St Patricks day the day before, so Liverpool will be full and saturday night will be a sea of green and guinness!

Xabi,I'm injured too,not ran in over a week now, think it's the dreaded ITB Syndrome, so I've got all this shiny new gear for christmas and I can't run  I'm looking at treatments and prophylaxis on the net now,if that doesn't help, then I'll fork out for proper treatment.

I'm desperate to start my hm training so happy new year to everyone and good training to all.
