Just entered macclesfield HM wondering what its like? Just coming back from persistent calf injury, going to take my training seriously this time. Been a bit blasé in the past and missed out on a few races bcos of this.

Hi Dave
it's hard getting back into it but keep plugging away and hopefully the enjoyment will comeback.
It isn't all plain sailing! Went out this morning had big plans but just couldn't get into it, still managed five mile though. Not to convinced with new trainers (mizuno) maybe I'm looking for exscuses.
Good luck

Is it the same old route? Maybe you need a change, new challenge??
I've been trying to vary my routes and found my mileage and enjoyment has increased.
In the past three weeks I have increased my mileage significantly by changing my routes. I was becoming a little bored and somewhat lazy with my usual routes. Asked a mate who advised I jump in the car and drive somewhere different and find alternative runs.
Hope this helps. Good luck

I'm thinking if running half marathon late march but keep putting it off. I run three to four times a week, tonight I ran 10k and could have easily done more. Do you think I should stop worrying and enter help!!!
