I was about to buy a pair of Rudy Projects, until some people on bikeforums.net directed me to http://www.tasco-safety.com/safety-glasses.html
Their experience has been excellent - shatterproof, ANSI standardised, decent styling glasses for...
approx $5.
I've just ordered some Smith & Wesson Code4's, Crews Klondikes, Venture II's and Matadors in a range of smoke, clear, amber and mirror lenses (6 pairs) for $32.75 before postage.
I seem to lose or sit on every pair of expensive glasses I get, so now I won't care! |

"Interesting. Can anyone explain why brand-name HRMs like Polar, Cardiosport, Sigma etc are better than the ones we've never heard of?"
In my case, Polar is the only brand that works with my training software.
You tend to find that - obscure, less well known stuff isn't supported by third parties, or at best, is supported later.
So it isn't just about the advertising.

Lore of Running is extremely comperhensive.... can't say I understand 100% of it, but I'm slowly getting through it. Wish it had started with training rather than physiology though. :)

South Belfast, Lisburn Road.
Decent enough part of town.
Pipe insulation wouldn't look as nice, but would do a grand job. |
