| Good race, well organised, fast course, suits runners of all abilities. The start can be a bit congested if you are planning to get away quickly, but good race for a PB. |

I clocked 12.31mls on my GPS. I may have cut a few corners unintentionally, I was just following the guy in front.
We crossed more water than I expected but had no problems with my feet.(I wore off-road shoes that let the water out easily) I dread to think what it would have been like without a guide, you would have no idea where you were, I found it slightly disorientatng even in good visibility.
Great event though and I think the organisers deserve great credit for getting so much water out on the course, I will certainly consider doing it next year.

| Thanks Cumbriandy. I remember seeing a thread on this a couple of years ago but can't seem to find anything now. |

Is anyone doing this on July 2nd? I would be interested to hear from anyone who has done it before. Just what do you wear on your feet when you have to cross 3 knee-deep water channels. |
