Have you tried putting it in the airing cupboard? I dropped my iPod in the bath and it wouldnt turn on. Put it in the airing cupboard for a day or so and was absolutely fine!

I have just purchased a garmin 410. Absolutely love it and cant believe I have waited so long! Uploading the runs is no problem and seems to be working fine but everytime i go onto the analyze page on garmin connect it shuts down my internet so i cant look at split times or anything.

this doesnt happen on any other part of the connect site. have i got some kind of internet issue?

I am not a natural runner but I managed the GNR 2010, and a few 10k's since then.

Since a 10k in May I have had a break from exercise (pure laziness) until a few weeks ago. I went for a very steady jog of about 5k and altough I am very unfit, I enjoyed it. The next day I felt generally quite sore which I put down to the fact I hadnt exercised for such a long time. I had a day of rest and then attempted another steady 5k. About a mile in my left knee started to feel very strange, like it needed to click. I stopped and stretched and then continued. The feeling became a little bit painful but mainly it felt weak when i put my foot down, as if my knee was going to give way.

I walked home in a massive strop! the next day every step was painful, walking downstairs was awful, but upstairs was absolutely fine. I thought at first it could be some ITB issue, so I iced and compressed and stretched. I rested in total for about 3 weeks.

I ran on the treadmill on Wednesday for the first time and managed almost a mile before this weak feeling started-decided best not to push it as it wasnt particularly painful, just a bit odd. Then tried a run on thursday and I didnt even managed quarter of a mile!!!

I am concerned as in total I have only run about 5 miles across 4 weeks! surely not enough to cause an injury!!!!

I did have a pretty nasty bike crash a few months ago where i banged the entire left side of my body-could I have damaged something in my knee then but not realised??

Please help because I am doing my boyfriends' head in whinging!!!

Thanks xx
