Hope you are feeling better soon Aber.

Good luck to all you lot starting your marathon training.

Pip, I'm glad your injury is nothing to taxing. I've been so so frustrated with my knee this year. I'm back to running but only a couple of miles 2/3 times a week. And already my muscle is starting to protest. My quads are knotted and my IT band really tight. As soon as I start running it tightens right up - blasted thing.

 - I like this little Christmas geek.

Pip - just read back and caught up with your knee, so to speak.

My problem was biomechanical, I've spent months strengthening, stretching and foam rollering. I do think it helps, but I think it is good to find out which muscles need beefing up. Maybe a trip to the physio just to check muscle imbalance would help - I know all to well how frustrating injury is .

Helllloooooooooooo everybody *waves madly* - remember me Old Sick Note.

Well I've seen 3 different physio's, and I'm finally back out running, very slowly and very short runs. Not even considering doing a marathon next year.

Kaffeeg - Really hope you injury doesn't develop further (bloody injuries).

Hello to everyone else, good luck with any up coming races and hope you are all doing well x

Well done pip. I reckon I'll be helping out with my clubs water station next year so I'll look out for you running past

I didn't get in, but that's fine, I'd have so much catching up to do. I'm so pleased I have no pressure to get back to running anytime soon, I might not even run again until next year now. I've kinda fallen out of love with it after all my problems.

I'll be looking forward to reading how everyone is getting on though x

Welllllllllllllllllllllll.... who entered, who didn't ?? rejection letters have started coming out for the VLM13. I soooo hope I haven't got in, I've been in bloody rehab since the April marathon. If I did get in I would be deferring.

Is the Bristol half coming up soon, good luck to all those who entered x
