Good man Kenny the XC is great craic I am using it as tempo training and then doing my LSR London training on Sundays. Glad you are able to keep the LSR training going a definate turning point for you.
Good luck to everyone at Tullymore this weekend have a great run and let us know how it went.
Alwyn, I know that feeling Derry Marathon was my wake up call I hit the 6 miles and ended up in the bushes being sick and thinking how on earth am I ever going to finish never mind get the 3.30 time I had dreamed of. The mental toughness as all runners knows kicks in and I finished under 4 hrs (God Know How) and signed up for London 2015.
My training has just begun with crosscountry my focus to help with the staminia but illness during Taper weeks is always a runners biggest fear.
Good luck with shaking off the chest infection and I hope Dublin is a success for you not long to go now.
