Hi, does anyone suffer from headaches during longer runs? I train every other day to 5 or 6 miles no problem but if I add a couple of miles to this on a longer run I end up suffering from a headache in the last mile.

I'm not sure if this is due to me needing to train on longer runs or temp or and underlying problem. Can anyone help?

thanks

John

Thanks everyone, I have had a couple of extra days off running and have tried the compression after running and this has nost certainly helped. Thanks to you all, hopefully back on track.

Hi Ross,

It's only just started which has just been a couple of weeks of increased training but it causes me to have to stop and walk for a while then I can run for about half a mile before I have to stop again and walk. They just ache and stiffen up, streching them helps but not for long.

Maybe I should just stop for a few days until all feels well again then give it another go and see what happens.

Hi Guy's

I expect this has been asked before but can anyone please advise, I am currently upping my miles in training for a half marathon from about 18 miles per week to 25 miles and fined my legs starting to ache generally all over.

Should I stop for a a few day's or continue but reducing the miles. Any advice would be appreciated asI don't want to get injured if I can help it but still want to continue training.

Kind regards

John
