Hi all,

 There was a cracking article in RW  a few months (maybe years back).

It was when one of the editors or columnists met an ex marine or someone like that in ex forces.

Anyway, long story short, it never phased him if for whatever reason he couldn't achieve decent times or even be able to finish a race. The point is be realistic about what you want to achieve. And if you don't achieve it there's always next time.

 Just enjoy it.

some people are just naturals. 26 mins is awsome well done!!!!!!

 i too done my first event run in 2 years today. the air ambulance 5k in northamptonshire if anyone was there?!

unfortunately i forgot to time check before and after the race so ive no idea what my time was but i think it was about 35-38 mins.

want to do 10k's again so a months' hard work coming up to get back in shape.

well done again
