at least it wasn't my fault then.just hope it doesn't mess up mine and everyone else's qualifying times for London.was in two minds wether or not to run York in October looks like this has made my mind up hope they get that one right.
maybe the organisers at sunderland should of kept the route a bit more straight forward instead of all the little turns and out and backs.
hi I've just found this thread.does anyone know exactly where the course was cocked up? my splits on my garmin were out of sync with the mile markers from well before the half way point,i've got nearly two minutes difference with the official results at halfway.
I'm just asking as I finished 2nd place.but I only moved into 2nd with less than a mile to go and I don't think I took a wrong turn.i think they measured the course wrong myself with the mile markers been so far out from early on in the race.either that or the wrong turn must of been in the first ten mile or so and if that's the case the half race must be out aswell , but I haven't s seen anything about the half also been short.
what an absolute shambles they can stick the 25% wont be doing it again.
