Good comments ES.  Hopefully everyone understands how hard it is to organise a race.  The weather was kind to us in the end and it was a great event!  Well done.

Looking forward to it too.  Hoping for "sleet" not snow.  It's my first HM and I've picked a hilly one!!

Hoping the weather holds out for Sunday - forecast is sleet at the moment!

Have you looked at the "First of the Summer Tri" in Holmfirth.  It's usually on in April (and then again in October).

I've done it (solo, not relay) and it's a good event, well organised.

I invested in a Garmin 405CX.  I really like it but I use it mostly for looking at the stats after a run.  I haven't managed to use it to pace myself etc yet, probably because even though it's a relatively large watch I find it hard to read the info while I'm running.  However, I am sure with a bit more practice I will get used to it. I've only had it about a month.

My husband keeps pinching it for his bike rides though!

I'd definately recommend it.
