I grew up a 2 minute walk away from the park and it was the first race I ever ran (when I was 8, 2 mile fun run). Good race, great organisation and I will be doing the 10 miler for the first time this year!
No idea.I have emailed the organiser to check because I haven't found anything online. The snow is coming down in here in Surbiton though. I'd be surprised if it was on. Nonsuch Park is boggy at the best of times but it'll be icing up nicely at the moment.
I'm due to run the Nonsuch Park 10k tomorrow but there is heavy snow forecast tonight into tomorrow morning. Has anyone heard if it will still be on? I know the route can be quite boggy in places and is off road, so I'm not sure how keen I am to run around in the ice and snow...
I think slow and easy are just that (around 11:00 min/mile) and steady is a bit faster (under a 10min/mile). Not sure though. I'm doing the half marathon in under 2:00 Garmin schedule and just rely on my Garmin to beep at me if I'm going too slow/fast. Good luck!
