Afternoon all - I ditched the C25K and downloaded the C210K instead - I know I'll be able to do 5K easy enough so I'll push for the 10K - they also have a 13.1 ap too which I'll get once I'm up to 6 miles - all free at the ap store if anyone wants a look...did my first workout today - great to get going again!
we had a very full on weekend - a big surprise party for MrGFB's mum's 80th birthday on Saturday night - we may have a few to shandies! Then a wee hipster wedding on Sunday night - we were good at that one lol.
And a day off yesterday which was really nice.
So - believe or not I'm going to start r*nning again today - and because I've literally not run a step since March!! (sickness led to unfitness led to CBA led to total unfitness) - so I'm going to start from scratch with the C25K - that's how bad I am!! Ah well - better starting than not starting!
Afternoon all - our elderly ex-navy neighbour left us in TWO freshly baked Christmas cakes last night - he was the chef on board the ship - I'm not sure what I'll do with two right enough but wasn't that sweet of him! (MrGFB has fixed his back in the past and his lady wife's knee...we get cake every year off them now )
Bookie - knee is much better now - I was really worried about it for a wee while - but it's grand. I have absolutely no races booked at all - I think I forget how to run - I'll have to have a wee scope about and see if there is anything to get me started again.
