 Good luck!

Hi, I have a pain up the side of my ankle and then into my shin. I have been told its shin splints by a Physio....she said I should rest & lessen my taper even more (I was sheduled for 15 miles this weekend just gone but did 12)

My concern is losing my fitness levels before the big day if I dont do anymore running? Its also my first Marathon so I have newbie nerves as it is, so not running just makes it worse

Any advice would be really appreciated! Thanks

Hey all,

Ive got a 20miler this weekend & wondered if anyone could suggest something I could eat that wont give me a quick burst and then make me flag (jelly babies would?) but would keep off the hunger. I have a really fast metabolism so am really hungry & start to feel quite ill by 16-17 miles.

I already have 3-4 gels but they dont seem to do enough

Thank you

Hey, im training for my first marathon this year (London) & get the same thing but only on my left foot....it takes it 2-3 days to feel better!

I have brought this ball of the foot cushion from Boots (£4.79 I think) It slips over that part of the foot, is stretchy & has a gel base to cushion that area.....that might help x
