Hi, I am running the Great North Run then have two HM (Great Birmingham and Coventry) - one a week after the other. What should i do in that week? Rest? Some small runs? Cycling? I am running 11 miles on a Saturday/Sunday as it is so am sure my legs will manage one after the other but unsure how to keep ticking over in that week. Thanks Caroline
Thanks both. JvR, managed to find the great review on that site - after trawling through the blog. Shanko, does the 205 have a tracking function where you can set a pace and make sure you are matching this pace (i think the 410 has this).
I have always worn leggings but recently bought some Nike shorts. I have always had trouble with them riding up and chafing but bought the ones with integrated Lycra under shorts and they're great. So much that I've bought a second pair!
Hello all, I am hoping someone will be able to help me. I am looking at getting a garmin but have no idea which one to get. I currently use runkeeper to track my pace, distance and progress but would really like to start stepping up my training and think a garmin would be ideal. I am looking for something that I can track my routes, see my pace and distance. But is also easy to use and not too big on my wrist. Any recommendations would be gratefully received. Thanks Caroline
Thank you, yes had a gait analysis at a specialist running shop, have proper socks etc. I have very high arches and have tried insoles to no avail. As I experienced pain with my old trainers initially and now they are fine, I just wondered if anyone else had the same problem as £90 on trainers is not cheap!
