I'm sure we have all had runs like that Nurse. I certainly have! Could just be mental tiredness. Try and catch up on your sleep over the next few days. Personally I'd go for a shorter next run - 12 miles ish - get your confidence back and then step up to 16 - 18 for your next run. Or try a run/walk as Eggy has suggested.
Did Craggy Island Triathlon on Saturday, a 3K race tonight, have Aviemore Triathlon on Sunday, Glenmoray HM the following Sunday, Grantown Triatlon the Sunday after, and LN two weeks later!! Crivens and jings!
And somewhere in amongst that lot I need to fit in another 20 miles.
My plan has been pretty 'fluid' as always. Thankfully no injuries so far (touch wood). I feel ready - I wish it was this weekend! Hang in there folks and hope all the niggles and strains disappear soon.
Haven't been here for a while, so hello again! I'm with Eggy - don't like LSRs. So, I'm not doing many! Dannirr - my training has focused on shorter, more intense, runs. i'll be interested to see how it pans out at Loch Ness. I'm all for a bit of experimenting. Nothing to lose really.
