Hey brookie thanks for info on Dublin marathon, don't know anyone that's ran it, I ran 19 miler today in the sunshine too, what a difference a bit of sun makes, really enjoyed it today!
Duffs you will enjoy Liverpool I ran it last year, despite a 45 min delay at start the race was superb, the people of Liverpool were amazing, the crowd after you emerge from the tunnel is something special, I found it a tough one though, after half way! Really nice medal, best one I have so far..

hey guys, Done an 18 miler on fri and suffered big time, wasnt feeling well from the start, should never have went out in first place, a few beers after it well earned ! WARNING... beer + laptop + credit card = bad idea!!! Ended up signing up for blackpool marathon on 11th march! AND the Dublin marathon in Oct! Would you guys recomend speedwork sessions? never tried it, thinking it might help shave off a few mins.. Anyone struggling with distances just now? need to try squeeze in a 20 miler this week, cant get motivated for it though! | |

Contemplating doing this one, running Edinburgh in may, do only just started distance training again, not got a lot of time to get some good distances in for Blackpool, decisions decisions ,
Anyone know how good this event is?? In terms of , route, medal etc... ? | |
