morning all. great racing from the doncaster 5kers! Good pb BR, would be interesting to see what you could do on the track! and another category victory Sodahead, great stuff!
pb'd myself last night in the race URR also did. Kassa Tadesse and another chap went haring off with their pacemaker doing 69 second laps! I was aiming around the 75/76 second mark for my pb and settled into 74s/75s for the first six laps or so and then it started to hurt and i was drifting out to 76s. Kept it together though and gave it all on the last lap to come home in around 15.37 which was a pb by 9 seconds.
was very pleased as I effectively had to run it as a time trial as the two leaders were half a lap ahead and the 4th and 5th guys were running 16 minute pace. felt i had absolutely given it my all at the end.
so a nice and easy half hour recovery run later for me
have a good day all. have a feeling i will have more than one eye on the cricket instead of working today!
