Well done on the progress and races everyone and sorry to hear about people having to pull out due to injury etc - there's nothing worse. Still, it's best to get things sorted and then try again when you're fully fit.
As for me, after backing off a bit and restarting week 7 due to a knee twinge I've been back at it and did 15 miles yesterday afternoon before heading over to my mum and dad's for home made pizza. I'm also really enjoying being able to run in the park in the evenings now due to things getting lighter.
18 miles next Sunday - the longes I'll ever have run
Uluru, I went ahead and bought one and I'm loving it. In terms of the sloshing sound, once you fill it up you need to turn it upside down and suck all the air out through the tube. Gets rid of the sloshing sound brilliantly.
Good to hear about people getting on well, I had a few twinges in my knee which got slightly worse on my Wednesday 10 miler so I decided to back for the rest of the week. Fortunately I've got a weeks contingency built in so should be ok!
