Hi there!

I have completed my second marathon in September of last year. I was really looking forward to it. Achieved my PBS but not quite the set target. I loved it anyway as it was in my home town Berlin. Unfortunately ever since then I have hit a massive wall. Picking up every virus going and due to health my fitness level is at its worst. How can I pick myself up and regain confidence. I am not entirely sure where or when but I have completely lost my mojo. Many thanks.

Hi all!

Long time no see. Have successfully completed the Berlin MArathon at 4:07. A proud 31 mins improvement. It was amazing, from the run up to the afterparties. No hitch, perfectly organised with a lunchbox and an icecold beer for all runners after it ( and optional fire engine showers during). Perfect day and cheers all along the route! So I am not sure where to turn from here as I don't think it could be topped, I think I will do a 'Jodie Marsh' and do a bit of gym hopping!

Ps I met two guys on the way to the marathon one who had run it 30 times and the other was completing his 10th at the age of 72!!!!! Amazing!!!!!

My first run after...ouch. Well as expected the dreaded hippo run. Should organise something next year, have been offered a school gym hall for groups to stay. Runners of northern ireland unite! ;D
Yes Kenny def. after a couple of weeks. Can't wait. Thank you all. And am keeping everything crossed for all those competing in Dublin, Causeway and of course all other races.

Ps @John the course is magic. No hills, great roads, good enough to host inline skating races. If you are looking to run a PB, Berlin is the one.
