Get the odd comments normally asking to join but "sure, only 7 miles left" normally they reconsider!

Weirdest request on a lap day (laps round where I live to do a measured constant time/distance) and a car on the third lap asks why am I just running round in circles then procedes to tell me they have broken down with 3 kids in the back and could I please run to the petrol station and get a can for them. BIt of hassle as was almost done but saw it as an excuse to do a bit more...only problem is I dont run in my glasses so had no idea what I was doing at petrol station and had to get a man to do it for me...he seemed very confused as to where my car was.

Roquito peppers are really nice and getting popular now - sweet but hot and great on pizzas

Pad thai is a really easy thai dish to make and uses Tamarind which is delicious (Noodles with peanuts, chilli, onions, prawns, beansprouts, fish sauce, tamarind, soy sauce, beancurd if veggie, garlic and egg)

and a new find for me is that japanese breaded chicken katsu curry is very easy to make yourself and easy to make healthy as the sauce is just cooked onions and garlic then blended with water and a selection of spices and boiled to thicken!

Im not sure I 100% see the problem running in black...your going a little faster than people walking but noone will call up all the people walking home and tell them they are wrong for wearing a black coat, black work trousers and black shoes. Yes its prob safer to be more visable but walkers in the majority get on just fine as do joggers.

Over christmas the films were:

Green Lantern - better than everyone ive spoken to said it would be

Sherlock 2 - a good mindless fun fight

Tamara Drew - not what i expected and so enjoyed it more than i would have

Waterhorse - ok a kids film but nice all the same

Sweeny Todd - Second time still love it and amazed people walked out of the cinema when they realised it was all singing

Dead Snow - a good zombie romp so bad its funny

This years was to say yes to more invites and offers.

this has been a success all year seeing me going out, meeting alot of new people, joining a great group of like minded geeks, taking up running.

I shall be keeping it up for 2012's resolution as well as adding some sort of offical run in there somewhere
