ah what an illusion I have created! Ultra running is ALWAYS on my mind, turning it off is so hard. I dream about it, it keeps me awake, it takes up most of my normal everyday life, it has turned into an all-consuming obsessive monster and im not quite sure how to get out! So crazy is this beast that the way I am dealing with running 100 miles is to look for even longer, harder events to put it into perspective!!
Mummysaurus - people really underestimate how hard it is on crew and supporters, this is why us ultra folk love you guys so much!! My job is to get from A to B as well as I can. A crew on the other hand has to do a lot of driving, waiting and rushing around in short bursts, this is why I didnt ask for a crew for this one. Ive heard how hard it can be on a crew You could always run the last 5 miles, ill have 95 of them under my belt by then so you should be able to keep up
Balls! just checked and there is no crew access so it would have to be 9 miles
