I've entered the Windsor Try-a-thlon next weekend and want to get the best possible swim time. What are your thoughts on strapping an outboard motor around my waist? Will I regret this decision in T1?
I see that Riis is likely to be stripped of his 1996 Tour victory (story on BBC site). This could end up a bit of a farce as Jan Ullrich was second and he is currently under suspicion for doping so may not be awarded it. Third place in the 1996 tour went to Richard Virenque and we all know he was about as clean as Ben Johnson! Fourth placed was Laurent Dufaux who admitted to taking drugs in the 1998 Festina scandal so he probably wont be awarded it either! That could leave the winner as the relatively unknown Austrian rider Peter Luttenberger (unless anyone has any dirt on him!). What a farce!
