It's been a while since I posted on the RW forum but I would Like to ask a question and get your opinions on compression Knee high running socks? When running in long tights in the winter months I feel my running Is more efficient which is probably due to the compression fit on my Muscles. Obviously it would be a bit strange wearing long tights in The summer but would wearing long socks have the same affect? Another couple concerns with wearing compression socks is would They make my calves weak when I chose not to wear them? Meaning Would my muscles become dependant on using them? Lastly I'd not be wearing them for an image thing but purely for a performance Thing. Let me know if you think this is a no go area for a male runner? Many thanks Stuart
I had recently started a thread on brooks ghost runners But now need some advice on the brooks glycerin 10. Being that the glycerin are not ur typical shoe for speed But more for comfort in training and longer distances do You think it would be possible to achieve a sub 3 hour Time wearing a shoe of this type? If you have achieved sub 3 in glycerin or run 6-6:30 min Miles could you post me ur experiences with this shoe as I need to get some second opinions before possibly buying? Many thanks
To all Brooks supporters out there I'm looking for Some advise? I'am looking to buy a pair of Brooks Glycerin-10 or Ghost-5 and need to know what's best for me? I'm running half marathon distance at sub 1:25 and This year doing the London marathon for the second Time. My first full marathon time was 3:13 and I'm now Looking to run sub 3:00. I'm weighing in just under 10 stone and was looking for Some advise. Any decent advise would be appreciated?
