Andy, is the limit definately 1000 ? There are other sites contracting this, eg the run britain website and the good run guide say 2000? I was holding back from entering as I dont usually enter races until a few weeks before, and not sure what commitments/other races i'm doing around that time. However, if the limit is only 1000 I will probably have to make a decision now as the entries are nearly up to 700. Thanks. |

| I always like to try a different or new race, and this was better and tougher than expected. With 8K off road through the trails of hamstreet woods, and in places reminding me of some of the muddy sections of the Eridge 10 I ran last year, this was one of the more testing 10K’s I have run, definitely not a PB course! J.Thanks to Martin Burke / Nice Work for hosting another excellent event with a good atmosphere and plenty of food and refreshments. My kids enjoyed taking part in the childrens race and picking up another medal to add to their collection J.Hopefully as this is race offers something different to your average 10K, this event should go from strength to strength. Looking forward to the next Nice Work event. |

| Thanks Dunc. Although this is over 6months away, considering giving this one a go, as it's good to try a new race, although we seem to be spoilt for choice of races in the area at that time of year. Doesn’t seem to be any information on the race route, although I recall reading about it sometime ago but it was a bit vague and I can’t find the info now. My best guess would be that it heads off from brook st/haysden towards Leigh, probably on the upper haysden lane and ensfield road, and then follows the lanes around the leigh area, then down the hildenborough rd / stocks green rd, or maybe the quieter powdermill lane route into hildenborough. It may even incorporate some of the old hildenboro 10m race route on the other side of the B245 if it goes out that way which would be good, but crossing that that might cause too much traffic disruption . Not sure of the return route to brook st, as i doubt it will go through Tonbridge High St, it may possibly cross the tonbridge sportsground and haysden park if it’s still on that side of the town. If it does follow roughly that route it will be quite a fast course. On the other hand I could be completely wrong and it heads off to the other side of the town towards tudeley and golden green ! JAnyone else got any information on this? |
