Well, Denise probably hasn't helped her own cause, but that could be down to her feeling threatened and becoming defensive - who knows?  Other than the DVO business I have really enjoyed Strictly, and will really miss it after the final. I suppose the high feeling it has generated shows how popular the show is with people.

Although I'm not a Denise fan, I am tired of all the Denise bashing that's gone on, particularly on another forum (cos people are more polite here), and if I were Denise I think I'd be looking pretty fed up by now with it all. I thought it was really nice of Robin and Lisa to say what they did about her. I feel that this year's Strictly has been tarnished by all the ill will that's been directed at her, and it's probably left her feeling rather battered and bruised by it all.

Well, what a weekend for SCD!

It was the right result, but I have to confess that I had tears streaming down my face as Lisa made her farewells to Robin. I didn't want her to go through to the final at the expense of better dancers, but what an impression she's made on this series of Strictly!

My impressions of Saturday evening were that I hated Dani's first dress, which meant that I was distracted from the dance. It seemed ok, but didn't wow me. Her Argentine Tango, however was much better, but perhaps lacked emotional intensity?

Denise was excellent in both of her dances, but I liked the Tango best out of the two.

KImberley was fab - u - lous. (I voted for her, so what more can I say )

Louis was better in his second dance. Why can't I warm to him more?

Lisa ! That floor spin was priceless!!

Bruno's cock-up: Made me roar with laughter. I actually had a Great Aunt Fanny - a very stern lady - so Bruno's little slip really amused me.

Sunday - Katherine Jenkins Jive - hated it!

Claudia's heels - can they get any higher? And she wasn't wearing black!!!

Next Saturday is going to be amazing - but what I am going to watch when Strictly finishes?

I suppose Denise or James  might have said something because there has been so much criticism of her being on SCD from the start?

I agree about Ola, and I cringed when James made his remarks about Denise as no one likes a whinger. I realised as soon as I saw the show on Saturday that she was probably in danger through lack of popularity, and she's obviously well aware of that herself. At the start of the series I felt she was a strong contender to win, but I have now switched my allegiance to Nimble Kimble. I really think she's improved over the series, and having been in the dance off in the past it's now lovely to see her joy at being picked to go through.

I also want Dani to do well, as she has become a lovely little dancer, and I love the relationship she has with Vincent. Louis will also do well, and I admire his dancing, but he's not my favourite, I'm afraid, and nor is Lisa. She's very entertaining, but her dancing isn't at the same level as the others.

BTW, did anyone else think that Claudia had forgotten to put her frock on last night?
