5miles in a little over 42 mins for me today.  Felt rough all the way round due to still getting back into larger training volumes and 40 hard windy miles the day before were still evident in my legs

My first ever Half marathon and I loved it

1.55.01 over the line but i'm taking the 1.52.58 on the chip as my actual time as its quicker!! Lol

Agreed about the wind! I dont think i've ever ran is such strong wind before, even with my substantial frame I found myself using others to shelter behind for a bit of relief.

Such a shame about the poor guy at around mile 11 at the bottom of that last hill by the equestrian place who it seems died.

Still a fantastic event though and will probably give it a go again next year.
