Hi everyone

PJ - I am sorry to hear about the water problem in the house. I hope that it gets repaired sooner than you think.

Simon - good result. I think it is top 9 for intercounties selection in Warwickshire (not that I am ever in contention!) plus 3 reserves. Some of the guys in our club get to do it.

Why - still recovering from racing

Hi everyone

Mava - Nice to have you back. shame about the illness / streak thing.

DD - good result - always nice to get a podium place!

Veester - well done on the 5k - good start back.

What - 50 min easy

Why - recovery from yesterdays XC race

The county championships course was a bit of brute, with no even ground at all. 4 laps meant 4 long hill climbs and several lesser beasts. The down hills were a bit crazy too. But no mud and a good turnout. I was 13th veteran (45th overall) and the vets result is 6 places better than last year, so quite happy. I live in an area with a very strong XC racing scene and the guys winning medals in my agegroup are amazing! I am 2 mins off the podium right now - how to get there????? Rocket powered shoes maybe ......

Hi all

LMUH - wise advice. I made a small calf strain into a tear by not waiting the 7 days for it to heal and ended up missing 5 weeks.

What - nothing

Why - rest day / Warwickshire XC championship tomorrow  -
