I am new to Newbury and am looking for a running partner(s).
I used to do fitness about 4 years ago but have done very little since. so i am looking for people with decent experience but not elite at this stage.
I hope to run 2/3 times per week, if your interested and a semi decent runner pleae get in touch.
Behind the times thats me, I have just found out about Ultra Marathons!
Ok bit sad clearly, but I am very very keen to do this tyoe of endurance race.
My background if ex military, I have kept fit and oftern do hill walks and treks along with half and full marathons.
however i am really keen to get started on these bad boys...
I have to be honest though I have no idea where to start, either with the required training or nutrition??
Are there any running groups in Berkshire that train for this type of thing?
Any pointers and advice would be great, I dont know if i am fit enough to give this Brecon one a go, but hey I would very much like to get the ball rolling and become much fitter than I am.
