VT, also having to do hip strengthening exercises after visit to the Phyiso,
apparently its my hip flexors that are the problem not my calf. The calf's are trying to compensate and don't like it, so they are complaining by shutting down / cramping. Three low millage runs this week followed by a 8 mile race over the Brecon Beacons, just blowing away the cob webs, nothing more, so happy to be out in the hills, felt great.

Flob, funny you should mention change of shoes, because for the last few weeks I have been thinking the same thing !! that its time to get rid of the old ones and get the new pair that's been under the bed for the last few months.
But one more run in the old pair, then another run and another and so on.
Booked a physio for tomorrow. Session on the rower today felt hard because all I really wanted was to be out running the streets.
