Lingster, myself and a dew others stayed in that travel lodge last year. We pre booked a taxi for race morning and getting to the start was a doddle. Plus, there's a supermarket about 100m down from the hotel for any last min items or snacks!
Your obviously a car enthusiast where as to me its just a mode of transport. Re he point I make is that even in these dark economic times there are savings to be made if you really need to make them.
