That's well more than I've ever run- I'm only up to around 7.5 miles!
I'm thinking of heading down to London to run the fun run with my dad's wife, give her some encouragement too. It defo makes it easier if you have someone cheering you on.
I've been a subscriber to RW for about 8 months now and had only ever replied to one post before starting this thread. I figured that there are thousands of people here that are into the same thing as me, so I should use it. Come on to these forums and boast about your achievements- there will always be someone to cheer you on!
Oh no Sarah that's a shame! I have really struggled with my shins, so am easing back in very gently after getting the 10K out the way.
Raneroo, good for you giving up the cigs. Think that is possibly the best thing you could do, and your kids will thank you when you are still here to run around with them in the years to come. Maybe they'll join you for a run in the future. Stick in there! Good luck with the half!!
