Hey! I just wanted to share a little tip that I found really helped me out and really increased my speed and endurance. So I've run for maybe 4 or 5 years but never competitively. I always thought I had a decent speed but when I ran with others I was always the slowest ( although I am short and have a smaller leg extension.
I really wanted to up my speed so I decided to try out a running clinic I found online. It really worked ! It increased my speed, they taught me not to put a lot of little steps in but to take larger strides. Also another important thing is to really use your arms!! It gives you much more momentum.
A big problem I had was that my arms were really weak and would get tired on my runs and I would end up placing them on my hips. So I really worked on making them stronger and my speed is now at a much better level.
I don't think it's safe to run with a child under six months in a jogging stroller, unless your stroller has a car seat adapter. The car seat means that the baby's head and neck will be stable and he won't get bounced around too much. However probably best to wait until she/he is old enough.
