before my fall (sounds like an empire has fallen!) anyway, before i fell . . . i had started plans for an LOC at the gp surgery where i work . . .
this was well received, but then someone pointed out that our shower cubicle was out of bounds . . . .
cos leigionnaires disease had been found in the water!!!
but apparently it just 'happens' sometimes.
back to the drawing board for plan b.
thanks for asking, i'm still around but as i'm not trying to run at the moment, and am building my walking back up to post-injury briskness, i feel a bit of a fraud posting on a runners forum!
hi twiglet-legs, ah ferndown! hengistbury head! i must go home again soon, i miss it (17 years up in nottinghamshire, which is a lovely place, but dorset is home)
good luck surreychick, i hope you get as good as or better results than i.
i am almost completely pain free during my 2mile walk to work, post heel injection.
is it ok to still post on here even tho not even trying to run yet?
have done my 2mile walk to work almost completely pain free, today yesterday and monday, so i am pleased.
i agree, may i gently suggest you get back in touch with your health supporter-type person and say just what you have to us, to them?
it can be overwhelming to have to be in control of such a vital thing as eating, add in the elation which comes from good healthy exercise and its easy to feel a bit panicy.
take a deep breath and have a chat with someone who knows you.
all the best
