I have had 6 days off the stuff now and I've seen a noticeable improvement in training, carrying less fatigue from one day in to the next (and on a greater volume). I'm going to pick it up after next weekend when I have 3 weeks between races and see if the same thing happens and I'll let you know.
Evening Pirates. I have heard Jon and Beven bang on about Extreme Endurance for ages now. Having just come back from a holiday where I managed to get plenty of running in...leading in to a stupidly busy April and May race wise, I thought I'd give it a go.
The complete opposite effect. I have been taking it for a week and I've never felt MORE fatigued, and I mean just completely drained. Bike sessions were painful and running considerably slower that target pace.
However, I missed a dose this AM and PM due to work being a touch manic and on my brick session this evening and I felt brilliant!
Has anyone else tried it and what have your experiences been?
Gutted - I have to drop out folks. Long story that is v boring but the result is I have my girls that weekend as the wife will be away in Paris. I'll pop along and cheer at you in the pool first thing on one of the days. 2nd year running I've had to jib out...not good!
