I'm absolutely gutted. I've been in a car accident and I can't enter the race. I even considered walking it but deep down I'm aware that I won't be able to.
I don't know if you know the area but it is fantastic, I grew up around there and I spend a good amount of time there now. It will get more challenging and more beautiful each day, with the only negative being that you have to run through Fishguard / Goodwick before you're back on the cliffs heading towards Dinas Head.
I'm very jealous. Have a great run, you and everyone else are in for a treat. |

| Some guy drove into the back of me, leaving me with some pretty serious whiplash. I'm absolutely gutted. I was all ready to do VoTwo's Pembrokeshire Coastal Challenge ultra this November but now I can't see it happening. I've been kidding myself I might be alright come the 2nd of November but I'm walking around like Robocop. I was running for Ty Hafan children's hospice and it feels like I'm letting them down. I'm hoping the organisers will transfer my fee to another event, more than likely the Jurassic coast ultra in late march. Has anyone any advice or been in a similar position. Will I be able to run the ultra in march? |

@ cinders. Game and Gamestation are still around though many stores closed. The kids are still fat though. I think a game should be made called 'go play in the park'. When the kids plays the disk it should display on the TV in nice big letters GO PLAY IN THE PARK FATTY.
Joking aside, people do need to wise up. Where I live we have exercise machines for kids in the park. What a waste of money. They only need a football to have fun and keep fit. The world has gone f**king mad. |

| I used to work in GAME and at the beginning of every school holiday, especially summer, parents would bring their kids in to buy enough games to keep them busy over the holidays. Very sad to see. I would want to spend more time with my daughter than have her stuck in front of the TV. |

I live near Carmarthen. The course should have great potential and I'm looking forward to this event. I have no idea of where the course is going but it's bound to have a good amount in town.
Mark, don't worry about the Cardiff half. That course is very flat and pretty fast. The Carmarthen half will be a completely different experience. It's all about having fun. |
