I recently bought the Adizero XTs as I am running on a lot of sharp flint and the Vibram Fivefingers I run in are not up to the abuse. I moved from Brooks cascadia 6s to less drop as I found I was getting problems with my knees with the higher drop and have found the Adizeros to be really good to run in. Good all round grip, not quite as good on the road as the brooks or the vibrams but much better off road. Light, and fit my feet well. Only complaint about the Adizero is the blue and orange colour scheme.

Hi All

I shall be running the London 2 Brighton Challenge 2012 for Macmillan Cancer Support. 100km in under 24 hours. I am hoping to manage it in under 16 hours but I am a realist

Well I say running, it will probably be nearer a case of run/jog/walk and repeat until the finish as I have only really recently started running.

I chose Macmillan as my charity of choice as they have provided amazing support for 2 departed friends and I believe the world would be a worse place without them.

As to why so far. I would like to raise as much money as I can and something this epic will hopefully encourage support, and I shall need all the support and incentive I can get to finish.

Donations can be made here http://www.justgiving.com/Robins-London2Brighton and if anyone is on Facebook I have a charity page with updates here http://www.facebook.com/pages/Robins-Big-Charity-Event/147330805310866

If you do donate please could you add runners world in the comment so that I can see this is working.

If all you can do would be to 'like' these pages on Facebook and '+1' them on Google+ I would be really grateful.

Cheers

Robin
