Did you (or anyone else on here) end up entering the Great Wall Marathon?  I've got a place and fly out early next week - really looking forward to it.

Another vote for the NB 1080v2 - I tried Nimbus about 18 months ago and they were far too soft for me. Ended up going back to New Balance and the 1080 (now on 1080v2) and they're fantastic.

I'm doing the Singapore Marathon as well this year. I now live out here so have a small advantage of being able to train in the heat and humidity - been for a couple of runs since arriving here a few months ago and to put it mildly they didn't go well! Going to take a lot of training in order to complete the marathon - maybe it's a bad sign that this will be marathon number 13 for me!

Hi all

I'm running the Rotterdam Marathon on 10 April and will be raising funds for the Red Cross Christchurch Earthquake Appeal. As a Kiwi in London it's close to my heart and when you're so far from home you feel helpless and want to do anything you can to help. I am raising money through Just Giving at:

Thanks
David

Anth - we meet again! Thanks again for the run today and keeping a pretty steady pace throughout. My mate ended up with 1:47 so just missed his target. The other guy we ran with towards the end got just over 1:40.

Maybe see you in Brighton or Reading.
