Hi everyone hope you've all had good weekends, racing or training Ive finished the Lichfield Half Marathon yesterday and again have the usual gripes with both my knees today that i always get after running more than 12 miles.

The pain is really on both knee caps and the little bumpy bit just below.. if i had to decribe the pain it would be like someone had taken a hammer to both knees repeatedly! It hurts to stretch my legs out straight for the first 2 days but I can run with no pain and it dissappears completley after 2-3 days

Any ideas welcome?

It seems silly you have to pay again?  Also do you get a medal?

hi guys, sorry to trouble you all. I was looking at Brighton Marathon for 2013 not really heard much about it before . If you pay the £55 entry is that you in the race guaranteed no ballot places etc?

Also can anyone tell me where it starts from?

Thanks
