Well done everyone on the recent racing & training? Thanks Rodney. Happy to get away with dipping under the 330. Could have quite easily lost much more time. Took cold 12 days out from eace day - melts your head. No running for 12 days then the start line Decided to still go for it but new early dokes not gonna be my day. Sure there's always next Spring lol
How'd the parkrun feel Leslie? There'll be a few folk who'll miss Albertville race - definitely fast and flat.
First time running in Parkanaur - lovely 3 lap course hosted by Sperrin Harriers. not sure of time/place but ran it a tad faster than my planned marathon pace. 3 weeks to go and only 1 week until taper time
Well done One2e at Belfast. Was a lovely day for pacing and I agree that the support this year was great. We had a good group run with us and I love hearing people's reason for running and seeing them dig deep in the latter stages. 4.28.27 - pleased as we normally like that wee cushion. Only sour note was Jim sneaking his foot forward at line to beat me by 1 second lol.
No running for me until 1 June - loving having a proper break. So many times I've jumped straight back into training a week or so after. June sees 2nd phase of hr training with a few off road races lined up.
20 June - Pure Running / NBH DMC
27 July Volcano Mtn Race Tenerife
15 August Seven 7s
29 August Rathlin Run
26 September Causeway Half
24 October Mourne Skyline MTR
What events/races everyone else got planned?
Well done everyone else who has been racing Belfast and around the country.
