Hi Rob, I would say it depends on what kind of time you are going for if any for a first. The first few half marathons I did I didnt really eat anything special, I try to eat healthily anyway to maintain weight loss like yourself. The only thing I'd say is maybe play around with a few sports drinks before and after your long runs. I found gels didnt work for me, made me feel green, but my body responds well to sports beans so I keep a few in my back pocket and chew on one every few miles after about 5m just for that extra boost when you start to lag and then I found poweraid works well as a recovery drink for afterwards but then again chocolate milk works just as well and so I've read in RW has just the same benefits and it obviously more natural. More importantly, enjoy your first half, hope you do well
Hi guys, I just got my first tattoo on 26th, it's on my ankle above my sock line. I am entered into a 7m dirt run this weekend - will I be ok to do this? Was thinking to just wash it gently with antibacterial soap afterwards. I ran 7m the day after I had it done and it seems to be fine. Any advice much appreciated!!
My local running store is only small and although they do do video gait analysis they only stock Adidas, Brooks and New Balance I think so was looking to find recomendations for what others have found best.
Hi, I have been running for 4 years now and have always worn Saucony Omni's. However, my last pair were awful! I bought the exact same pair as I had before - Saucony Omni 8's and they are completely different and giving me awful pelvis pain. Any recomendations for a different womens stability shoe?
