I did an interview last week for our local paper about my 11 and a half stone weightloss and running the London Marathon. The interview was publish this morning and I was stunned. I expected to see a small box about 5 cm square with a little bit of info instead I opened page 3 and there were 3 colour photos and a full write up. It is virtually a full page. Is this tapering malarkey driving anyone else insane? My mind is working overtime thinking about anything and everything to do with the run all the time. It's making me really moody and quite short-tempered with anybody. I'll be glad when its all over to be honest.
Richard, so glad I am not the only one. I am like a bear with a sore head. Not to worry, not long to go now.

I have reading all the posts and I think we are all feeling the same - all worried about the slightest little thing. Can't believe we are nearly at D Day. Good luck to all that have managed to get this far, and for those who have had to drop out, it must feel like the end of the world.
Still panicking over what to wear. I just banked on a warm day and have a sleeveless vest which I have printed up with my name. Don't know what to wear now, as I get cold so quickly. Will have to pack everything - husband is gonna love me. Travelling down on the Thursday and between then and Sunday anything can happen with the weather so will have to be safe than sorry.
Thanks for that kiwi, it was really reassuring. A motivational chat will be really welcomed next week before I make my way down from Lancashire to the expo on Thursday. Crikey.....this time next week I will be sat in a hotel room! Scarey
