I'm a fairly new to running with my first 3 marathons last year being 3:57, 3:55 & 4:25 (trail marathon very hilly) so thought my target marathon pace should be around 8:30mm which would bring me in at 3:45ish, but yesterday I ran 17.5miles on tired legs at 8:15 pace, my legs feel tired today but no more than usual after a weekend running. My half marathon pb last year was 1:38.
Do you think I should either slow down my training runs or revise my target mp??
Hi Roger, Yorkshire marathon general sale entry sold out in 10 mins!!! but you can still get a place for this year by either buying a season ticket to all events or getting a charity place.
If you're interested for next year I'd suggest pre-registering this allows you to buy an entry in advance of general sale although these also sold out pretty quickly (3hrs). Chuffed that I managed to bag one of these for this year.
