Well done! As dancing in spikes said, you're better than all the couch potatoes! I used to feel a bit self conscious but the more you do it the easier it gets. You'll gain confidence as you improve. |

Juat as bad, if not worse! Only managed 2k before I had to stop. Complete lack of energy. I am resting between runs so I don't think I'm over doing it. I'll try again tonight! |

Hills are my nemesis, I dread them, even the slightest incline feels like a mountain!! Always nice if you get to the top and there is a nice big downhill though I need to learn to listen to my body, even though mine quite often says cut it short and go home! |

Thats great! Even the smallest break through makes me feel good and keeps me setting myself mini targets. Everytime you feel good, no aches, not out of breath, try setting yourself a target to go that little bit further. When you feel good make the most of it! I have been trying to do an extra km everytime I feel like that, even if its a bit too much I feel great for doing any kind of personal best, even if its only a few yards! My breakthrough moment was running around a lake near me, I'd tried it many times and never got close, when I made it I was happy for days!! Keep it up! |
