Thank you everyone for your words.

Unfortunately this thread is now redundant as I am writing to you just after coming back from the hospital

Took my dog out for a run today and a car was coming around a sharp bend on and BAM, he didnt see me so i got hit and I'm out I've broken my right shin and on quite a bit of morphine right now

This sucks sooooo much. I'm very pissed off but what can I do.
I shall get better in time and will let you know when I can run again

Thanks again.

P.S. I'm a girl

Well, I came up with the idea of running 8miles everyday for a year to raise awareness for a charity and maybe some money and the charity liked the idea and wanted to get some more people involved but we didnt get anyone because supposedly it was too much (people have jobs, family, kids etc) so decides to lower the mileage so to attract more runners.
4sounds like a doable distance for a lot of people so settled on 4. Most of the people I'm talking to are doing in the kilometres so it's 6.4k

I'm doing 4 for this, along with my marathon training, sprint training and swimming so should be fun

Yep, everyday for a whole year.
Thanks Emmy

I'm doing it to raise awareness for a charity called Facing the World.

More details to come....

I am talking about the September issue. The articles are nothing special and there so soooo few of them. I'm disappointed
