I know, I am kicking myself for not being more organised and meeting up. Emsi did the run too, and Mr Emsi. It was his first half, and did just under 2 hours. Emsi was ill, so didn't have a great time of it. You shouldn't run when I'll!
Kaffeeg, how exciting! Have a brilliant time!
Pip, so nice to see familiar names. I am good. Had the best summer in France with kiddies and husband and new term is spoiling all my fun!
B&T - next time! I loved the Bristol run. Really well organised I thought. More loos than in London!
I am running tomorrow and looking forward to it. Enjoyed SundY so much, feel I have my mojo back!
Nice to be back!! Woohoo!
I am back in South Wales with Emsi, and am heading back to Bristol airport in a bit. I did 2:26 which is a pb for me. I am very happy! I know, if I hadn't been so neglectful f the forum, I could have met you all. Glad you pb-ed too.xx
Hello strangers! Remember me??? I have sadly neglected the forum for months, but so lovely to see familiar names! My husband got the sorry mag yesterday but he has got a back up charity place. I am currently in South Wales, with Emsi, about to have an early night before Bristol Half tomorrow. Yikes! Will be furthest I have run since the marathon! If you are running, good luck. No blue ribbons this time!
Hi all. Great run B&T, well done.
And speedy you, Pip!
I have had such a manic week with the end of term, but Scottish schools now off for 6 weeks. Yes!
We are in Dover, going camping for two weeks in France tomorrow. Of course I brought trainers so will try to run every morning. More to balance out the vin and fromage, rather than training, but will start my Bristol preparation in earnest on my return. Anything under 2.25 would be agreeable!
Em, poor him. And good luck to he marriage! Hee hee. Send him up to Edinburgh if you get sick of him. Can he work?
Oh wow, I've not forumed for aaaagggggeeeessss. How is everyone?
The running seems to be going well y'all.
So who is running the Bristol half?
I signed up for the Speed of Light in the Edinburgh Festival. It's a piece of performance art on Arthur's Seat at night, where people pay good money to walk up a big hill and watch a light show, consisting of runners,( me!!) wearing light suits running up huge hills doing weirdo moves. We had a rehearsal on Sundy and my thighs still hurt. It is the weirdest thing I have ever done.
