Boo to black clouds. I was a total witch the other weekend. Can't blame black clouds really though - was just miserable and grumpy and vile. Was stressed about the ballet show and the baby sale thing I'd signed up for but after we made a decent amount at that I calmed down and then we agreed to have a good weekend last weekend and just do fun free things - like the museum of childhood and then the kelpies. Never made it to Falkirk wheel this week annoyingly. Weather was rubbish the days I was ofF. Half day tomorrow as they have one last day so mum has her in the am and I will pick her up at lunch.
After two nights of no tears or tummy aches the bucket is back. Argh. And we even went out of our way to spoil her a wee bit. She was at granny's last night for a sleepover with her cousin and while she was away we tidied her room, put up mirrors she wanted and sorted her desk. Then this am we got her a new pencil pot and desk tidy as well as paper and pens etc so her room is so much more welcoming. Oh well. She did love it. And she slept as soon as I said I'd stay upstairs and have a shower.
Well done all racers. Amazing work. Lotte I feel your frustration but it looked a little warm and it's an amazing time really.
CM that's nothing - 2.5 days with an entire office (Edinburgh) without any network access including phones ......that was our reality til I flipped out at our chief exec who happened to be visiting the Glasgow office. Why does IT have to be so difficult??!
No I couldn't see them either TT and I did want to - to make me feel better!! This morning Andy says the first thing the nursery said to him was "had a haircut Fraser?" Argh.
Off to work altho it's a Glasgow holiday. Got a ton of stuff due into Edinburgh courts today so no skiving possible. Though meeting a friend for coffee at lunchtime and need early departure as got a man coming to quote for new boiler. Sick of ours breaking down. it's bad when you are getting to know the gas men As they are round so often!
quick question - what's the weather like Cardiff way? got a lovely day trip down to see insurers and joy of joy they dress down so I need to plan what to wear. I'm basically wondering if i will die of heat if I wear boots?
